The ad600 matches up in performance with the expensive profoto b1, coming at a fraction of its price. Now unless there is something that i missed outside of the obviously sexier design, 38w versus 10w led bulb, its underpowered full flash performance(80 less than the xplor 600. I have one of the old style 600s and looking to get one more 600 but i have been wondering if the additional features on the pro version would be worth.
Even With A Spare Battery The Xplor Pro Comes In About 2 Pounds Lighter, Recycles Faster, And I Bet Packs Smaller.

Having myself recently shifted from a fantastic (but also pricey) pair of profoto b1s to jump into the godox (flashpoint in the u.s. The unit is new, i popped maybe 10 flashes, and found it was far more than i. The new 500ws profoto b10 plus versus the 600ws godox ad600.

I understand most times i wont use full power but then having the option is nice. And what a huge transformation the 600 pro now offer over. The b1 battery is rated by the manufacturer to have 220 full power flashes per charge.
